Merrow Butt Seam Machines

The butted seam is the seam of choice for the joining of materials. The Merrow line of butt seam machines includes models that will produce butted, gap, and overlap seams to achieve the optimum results, according to the fabrics and manufacturing processes used.  Processing advantages include: minimal material waste, reduced shrinkage and wrinkling, low bulk, and wet or dry fabric processing.

All Merrow Butt Seam machines use a single thread with cutters. Two-thread machines are also available.  For added strength, when needed, two threads may be employed through the needle.  Machines have one-point lubrication.  All are equipped with a single foot.  A special wheel-foot machine is available for processing tacky materials such as rubber- or plastic-coated, or sheet material.
