‘Creative’ is definitely Stephanie’s keyword and she has always been passionate about the arts, particularly textiles. She graduated from Blackburn University in 2012, leaving with a degree in Contemporary Textile Design - after a while in various retail work and with some experience of Jacquard weaving under her belt, she has decided to shine her light on Hobkirk’s!
Stephanie counts machine drawing, fabric manipulation and material coordination among her top textile skills though has an extremely broad spectrum of artistic interests. She has been given free rein in our extensive fabric department and is creating attractive new displays with skill and finesse - we wonder who keeps taking all the dressforms…?!
As well as transforming our fabric department, Stephanie is also on hand to assist customers wishing to purchase sewing machines, embroidery machines and related accessories. She will be combining her innate talent with her considerable experience to ensure that our customers can get the guidance they need to find the most suitable product.
