What a brilliant machine, bought to upgrade from my Atelier 3. Bought to accommodate both dressmaking and soft furnishings. My new machine is a glorious experience, solid, simple and intuitive. The controls are out of the way of any quilt and accessible, thread stands are perfectly positioned, vertical instead of horizontal, the extension table fits perfectly, the wider throat is a joy, brilliant lighting and then the wonder of the drop in needle plates and the accuflex foot left me almost speechless with admiration. I can switch from a pair of Jersey bottoms for a baby to piecing a quilt without any worry about tension. Sewing for nearly sixty years has taught me a lot and I am a confirmed Janome fan, this machine has not only proved to be well designed and efficient, (check out the size of the foot pedal), I can't wait to start my next project on a machine that was well worth the ticket price. The bonus was the excellent information and customer service which absolutely ticked every box. Totally brilliant. Thank you.
