Mr Takuma Furudate, managing director of Seiko Sewing Machines Japan took time out of his busy schedule to visit Hobkirk Sewing Machines. Following a 26 hour journey from Tokyo to Blackburn, Mr Furudate spent 2 days in Blackburn to discuss and further endorse their trading relationship with the local sewing machine company. He stayed at the local Premier Inn in Blackburn's Cathedral Quarter, took a stroll around the town's shopping mall and enjoyed a Caribbean meal at Turtle Bay restaurant.
Hobkirk are Seikos UK agent and import and distibute their machines all over the UK to many manufacturing companies including local companies Tetrad, BAE Systems, First Bus & more.
