I rarely write reviews but really wanted to leave feedback on this company as I was sooo impressed with the service. It is very rare that you phone and get to speak to someone immediately who is experienced and knows all about the products they sell and takes time to listen and provides great advice. I got the impression it was a smallish firm with a close neat team. No annoying being placed on hold for ages and being transferred to another member of staff and having to repeat all that you have just said. My email was promptly responded to by phone, which avoided endless back and forth emails and allowed them to gain more information to guide me on my purchase. Unfortunately the item I would like to buy is out of stock (not just with this company but nationwide due to the pandemic and shipping issues). However I was so impressed with the service, that I have asked to keep my order on back order and will wait until new supplies arrive.

This a fantastic company! They have a huge range of machines and just as importantly very knowledgeable staff! I bought my first overlocker, cover stitch and a replacement sewing machine. Lovely Elaine spent a few hours (on more than one occasion) showing me how to get the best out of my machines. The after sales support is invaluable and I highly recommend this company.

I ordered fabric online from Hobkirk. Great selection and easy to order quantity needed. I then received a call from Elaine, apologising that there wasn't enough of the original fabric, did I want to change it? Happy to! Mistakes like that happen and didn't take away much from my experience. Fabric now received, really happy with the speed of delivery and the quality of the fabric. Extra big thank you for Elaine, who was outstanding in her customer service.

Excellent company. Very helpful, knowledgable, and they want to make sure you get the most out of your machine. Great follow up support, so if you're a newbie or a complete beginner, these guys will make sure you don't feel like you've only got YouTube to turn to.

I really hope I wrote down Elaine's name correctly and I haven't got the wrong person! This lady was incredible. I had no idea what I needed, or what I was buying as it was a surprise gift for my mother. Elaine was without doubt the most helpful person I have ever dealt with, over the phone. She explained this whole product to me and hit every question I had written down before I even asked her. The item shipped the same day, and I think arrived the next, after having a conversation about needing to get it in time for a birthday! Support this business - they really care.
