A Life Alongside a Sewing Machine’

I attended the Billington Langho and District WI on the 9 April 2024 where the above mentioned talk took place. Elaine and her colleague gave a very interesting and amusing talk which was appreciated by everyone attending. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.

What a shop the people in there are great. I used to have a singer sewing machine years ago but nothing compares to now. They showed me how to use it I was in there for a while took time to answer any questions I had. I bought a Brother Innov-is 200 brilliant thank you Tatiana you are great.

Excellent customer service. I'm looking at sewing machines at the moment. Tatiana was so helpful in explaining the machines and which would be the most suitable for me. They offered me a free demonstration when I purchase one. Excellent communication and no pushing of things that I didn't need.

I took my machine in today as the top thread kept breaking. The lady was amazing so helpful and knowledgable, turned out to be a dud needle, so only cost me the price of a pack of new needles. Incredible service will be back to buy my next machine, thank you.

What a brilliant company. Nothing was too much trouble when I called in for help with a Singer machine made in 1948! All the staff helped to sort out some new parts and the correct needles. They clearly have a lot of skill and knowledge, but more importantly, are really good people to deal with who are passionate about what they do. THANK YOU!

I have just come off the phone after speaking to an extremely helpful lady called Linda . People are very quick to criticise and slow to praise but I’d like to say a massive thank you for her advice regarding overlockers and cover stitch machines. She gave me helpful information. Thank you.

I recently ordered some Brother sewing machine feet and accessories online. I was surprised and impressed when the shop called me to apologise for the delay (which I hadn't noticed!) as certain items were out of stock and would have to be ordered in. The staff are brilliant and go above and beyond with their service. My order has arrived with signed for delivery and was well packaged. I would definitely use this company again. Recommended.
